A Any group of 10 or more individuals who meet the eligibility criteria of the Clubs Affiliation Policy and have an established committee/club structure in place. Q Does my club get any money from WAFDA? A Yes, up to $200.00 seed funding then up to $200 per year just by maintaining club affiliation status as per the WAFDA Assessment Tool. Affiliated Clubs are also eligible to apply for further funding as per WAFDA's Financial Assistance to Teams/Clubs Policy. Q What is the WAFDA Assessment Tool? A The WAFDA Assessment Tool is a point based system that allows your club to maintain affiliation by accumulating points simply by developing your club. Q Does my club get access to WAFDA resources or equipment? A Access to resources: Job description templates, website space on waultimate.com, club email alias, WAFDA equipment use, event advertising via the WAFDA website and mailing lists, access to training for your club members such as coaching courses, workshops and seminars, administration support and guidance from the WAFDA Committee. Q Does my club have to be incorporated? A No. It is highly recommended by WAFDA that you do aim to be Incorporated, Incorporation allows your club to apply for funding from external sources eg Healthway or DSR, and it also provides legal protection for your committee members. Q How does my club apply to be affiliated? A Download a Club Affiliation Application, complete and send it the WAFDA Club Representative. Ensure you have read and understood the WAFDA Club Affiliation Policy. Q What does it mean if my club is not affiliated with WAFDA? A Your club is still entitled to participate in events however you will not have access to WAFDA resources such as equipment, education and development opportunities, Club email alias and allocated website space. You club would not be eligible to participate in WAFDA Club only events. Non affiliated clubs are ineligible to seek further funding from WAFDA under the Financial Assistance to Teams/Clubs Policy.
