Sandy Castleden has been appointed to the position of Coach for PRIMAL Women's Ultimate Club campaign for the Australian Ultimate Championships 2009 (AUC09) to be held in Perth.

Sandy has played Ultimate since 1982. Amongst her many achievements, she has twice represented Australia in 1985 and 1991, won 6 Australian Open and 1 Canadian Open titles, World Distance Champion in 1991 and is also the Australian women's record holder for Distance (102m), Maximum Time Aloft and Throw Run Catch events.

Locally, Sandy won the 2003 Matt Butler award for WA player of the year and captained the 2005 WA women's team. Sandy will bring experience, leadership and a competitive edge to Primal's AUC09 campaign. Welcome on board Sandy!
