Nationals is coming to Perth in 2009! This means that more than ever before WA has an opportunity to show the teams from The East what we've got. The question is which team do you play for? Read the rest of this article for a quick rundown of known teams vying Nats spots in 09.
Women's Teams Primal Primal is WA's most established women's Ultimate club, and as such is great place to learn and grow as a player. (Unnamed Team A) This new team focused on giving the eastern teams the strongest opposition possible. Registration and try-outs are open to ALL women interested in playing Nationals next year. Registration for this team will be open from Wednesday 15/9/08 and close on Thursday 9/10/08. Nominations for selectors for the team will be taken as well, and if you have a preference 3 possible days that you would like try-outs to be held on. At this stage there looks to be 2 try-outs during late October and early November. (Unnamed Team B) This team is all about balancing fun, competition and player development. Our goals are to make Nationals and have some good times along the way. Training will likely be in the Freo/Melville area.
