The Fifth annual Witch’s Hat Ultimate Tournament is coming! It has become a much anticipated tournament on the WA calendar. This year the Witch’s Hat is bound to be the place to be with the biggest turnout ever expected. You’d have to sell your soul to find a better way to spend the weekend. UPDATE: SATURDAY 18 OCTOBER There has been much behind the scenes action at WHV headquarters. Sponsorships confirmed, uniforms ordered, timetable completed, food prepared and PARTY ORGANIZED! SPONSORS: Two of our regular sponsors, The Pizza Lounge (Swanbourne) and WOW Wilderness Cruises (Walpole, WA) have once again agreed to support the Witch's Hat. They have donated prizes that will be coveted by all. This year we have the additional support of Mr. Organic (we're looking out for your health) from the Fremantle Markets. Mr. Organic have agreed to donate all the fruit and veg needed to feed the hungry masses. Help from these folks is going to make this year's Tournament better than ever. COMPETITION: This year there are expected to be 5 teams competing in the WH. There will be a single pool of round robin games followed by one final. This will give each team 4 games and 1 bye through the round robin. Games are 60 minutes with a 30 minute break between. In true WH tradition, there will be some non-Ultimate competition in the form of some individual games and, for the first time ever, Double Disc Court. PARTY: IT is, of course, A COSTUME PARTY!!! And there will be a prize for the best costume (objectively judged, for sure). This year's WH Party will be held at the Balmoral Hotel on Albany Highway, Victoria Park. There will be some food platters for WH party goers, but if you want a full meal either eat earlier or buy it there. Meals range from $15-$25 with some fancy $30+ mains.
