Two tournaments in one day! UWA Flying Disc is hosting a Social Hat tournament, where teams are randomly drawn out of a hat (hence the name) so is ideal for making new friends & having fun. Immediately following that tournament is the WA Regional Qualifying tournament for men's & women's divisions. 

The UWA Ultimate Frisbee Club will be hosting a Social Hat tournament to kick off the new uni year! We encourage all members of the Perth Frisbee community, especially SUL players and new UWA club members, to come along and get involved. Everyone is welcome, no matter what their level of ability, so bring along your mates too and get them hooked on Ulti! Teams will be decided on the day, and there will be a few experienced players on each team to ensure an even contest and to help new players to learn the game.

In conjunction with the Social Hat tournament, UWA is also hosting the WA Regional qualifiers for the Australian Ultimate Championships to be held in Coffs Harbour in April. This is a great opportunity for all those new to the game to watch high-level men’s and women’s matches. The Regional qualifiers will follow the Social Hat finals & presentations, and there will be a BBQ and drinks for sale, so we encourage everyone to stick around and check it out.
