Calling All Players for the 2018 Under18 State Team
WA Ultimate is calling for Players for the Under 18 WA State Boys and Girls teams to attend the 2018 Australian Youth Ultimate Championships (AYUC). There will be two selection events held for the Under 18 State Teams.
Where: Adelaide, South Australia
When: July 7th - 9th 2018
Format: Separate Gender; U18 Boys Division and U18 Girls Division
To be eligible to play the 2018 AYUC, you must be born AFTER January 1, 2000. Players may be the current age of 18 when competing, but must not be turning 19 years old in the year of 2018.
There will be two selection events held for the Under 18 State Teams.
Selection Event 1: Wednesday 16 May, 6:30pm - 8:30pm
Selection Event 2: Saturday 19 May, 9:00am - 11:00am
These will be held at UWA sports Park, Mount Claremont. Look for the WA Ultimate Flags!
An athlete expression of interest form is available to complete HERE!
This information will be forwarded to the coaches before the selection event.
Can’t make the selection event because you’re busy or you live in a regional town? Don’t worry – you can still complete the EOI form above, your information will be passed on to the team coach and they will contact you about the team and selections.

Over the tournament weekend the players are expected to play 6-8 games across the 3 days
This competition does fall within the mid-year school holidays. If there are any circumstances where University or School exams or assessments are on during the time of the tournament, please let the squad manager know. WA Ultimate can provide you with a support letters from the State Association to indicate your selection on the State team and the tournament details.
This is tournament is very exciting and an important step in developing both our next group of U20 Australian players, but also their coaches and managers.
