The AFDA Board is very pleased to announce that they have appointed Anna Haynes as Tournament Director of the World Under-24 Ultimate Championships 2018, to be held in Perth, Western Australia on 7 to 13 January 2018.

Anna’s experience as an ultimate administrator and event manager in Western Australia is comprehensive and unparalleled, including:

• 6 years as a full-time sports administrator with WA Ultimate
• Event management of a large number of WA Ultimate and AFDA events, including at the proposed venue
• Many years of experience taking part in international competition meaning she is aware of the key needs of players, coaches, volunteers and spectators that need to be met at an international tournament and the relationships that must be established between all stakeholders.
• Understanding of AFDA strategic needs and operational processes, with 5 years on the AFDA Board and Executive

We are looking forward to our first World Championships in Australia since WUCC2006.
