The Western Australian Flying Disc Association is seeking a suitable candidate for the position of President.

The President is the principal leader of the WAFDA and has overall responsibility for the governance, management and administration. Key responsibilities for the President include guiding the committee to prioritise its goals and then keeps the committee on track by working within the association's Constitution, plans and policies.

The position is currently vacant but it is a constitutional requirement to have this position filled. Typically, the President is elected at the AGM through a member vote, for a term of two (2) years.  Please note that the role of President is deemed a vacancy as there is still one year left under the current terms of office. This role can be filled without the requirement of a special or general meeting.
