2021 Run the Chains
Perth Disc Golf Club is proud to present the inaugural Run the Chains Perth disc golf event!
Run the Chains is a single-gender disc golf event for women and girls, run as part of the Professional Disc Golf Association’s Women’s Global Event (WGE). The biennial WGE is all about celebrating women’s disc golf, with participants competing against female disc golfers around the world in a virtual tournament.
Date: Saturday, May 8th
Time: 8:30 am
Location: Chichester Park, Woodvale
Cost: $20 (Perth Disc Golf Members) $25 (non-members)
Format: Two (2) rounds of 13 holes

Player’s pack numbers are limited, so register and pay early to secure yours!
Run the Chains participants will also be offered loan discs to use on the day, so don’t worry if you don’t have any disc golf discs. And if you’re an ultimate player and want to, you can use your ultimate disc during the round.
A biennial tournament, the PDGA Women's Global Event finds women going head-to-head with players at their local courses and also against women worldwide on a global leaderboard to determine who wins the weekend.
The event has set participation records each time it has run, with 2018 sporting 80 registered tournaments in 39 states and 14 countries with a combined turnout of 2,092 women competing in 23 different PDGA divisions.
