Premier Leagues Sub Committee
The Premier Leagues Sub-Committee is responsible for the coordination of the Western Australian Flying Disc Association (WAFDA) official high level league competition encompassing Perth Ultimate League “A Division” and/or the “Perth Premier League” This sub-committee will consist of 3-5 interested individuals who can help provide assistance in the running of high level league products in the Perth metropolitan area. WA Ultimate Rules Sub Committee
Do like reviewing and developing rules? Keen to have a voice and help develop guidelines for WA events?
We are looking for a team of volunteers to help review and continue to shape rules and guidelines for our major events. Who should apply?
If you want to help shape fair ground rules for local events, if you appreciate process and want to help WA Ultimate develop efficient, clear rules for event then we want to hear from you.
Please note that we always use the official WFDF playing rules where possible but at times we need to alter them slightly to suit our needs, ensure the format is right for the event we are hosting.
Key events include: Perth Ultimate League, Indoor Championships, Regional qualifiers (Western Regionals and Phoenix Has Risen) and the Witch's Hat.
Discussions will mainly be in an online format unless a face to face meeting is specifically required.
School Sports WA Reference Panel Members
Are you a Primary or High School Teacher who loves Ultimate? Want to help establish a WA and Australian based competition for Primary and High School Students?
We are looking for a team of volunteer teachers to help build a reference committee who will help develop guidelines, strategies and procedures in accordance with School Sports WA, to create a School Sports competition for both Primary and High School Students.
Currently we have a WA Ultimate run event – the High School Ultimate Championships, Check it out! We also have our event details on the School Sports WA website. We would like to expand this event to be co-ordinated by WA Ultimate, our reference panel and supported by School Sports WA.
WA Ultimate are currently looking for an Events Coordinator to assist with key WA Ultimate sanctioned events. We are looking for a person that is well organised and a good communicator.
Some key responsibilities of the Events Coordinator include: advertising for and appointing Tournament Hosts, planning an annual events calendar, promoting the events and booking locations for the events.
The Events Coordinator will be responsible for the coordination of Witch's Hat, State Indoor Championships, Beach Ultimate Championships and the WAFDA Annual Awards.
