Congratulations to Steve "bakes" Baker for being the joint winner of this year's Rob Hancock Award. The other winner is Bruce McNaughton from Brisbane.

2007 is the Year of School Ultimate and both gentlemen have dedicated their Ultimate careers to youth development in their states. The Rob Hancock Award is given by the AFDA for most outstanding contributions to flying disc sports, in memory of Rob Hancock. Winners are granted life membership of the AFDA.

Winners excel in dedication, goodwill, leadership and excellence in our sport and make remarkable sacrifices to achieve these. Steve & Bruce join an esteemed group of winners including WA's own John Damiani, Sandy Castleden and Brian Van Allen.

Steve is WAFDA's current Youth Coordinator and continues to champion for junior's Ultimate in WA. Thanks Bakes!
