Communications Officer

The Communications Officer role exists primarily to assist WA Ultimate to achieve maximum positive media exposure for its events, programs and members, delivering all activities associated with social media channels (Facebook, Instagram) website and membership mailing lists. This person helps to deliver WA Ultimate’s messaging to its stakeholders and the public in accessible forms. Events Officer

WA Ultimate are currently looking for an Events Officer to assist with key WA Ultimate sanctioned events. We are looking for a person that is well organised and a good communicator.
Some key responsibilities of the Events Coordinator include advertising for and appointing Tournament Hosts, planning an annual events calendar, promoting the events and booking locations for the events.
The Events Coordinator will be responsible for the coordination of Phoenix Has Risen, Western Regional's, Witch's Hat, State Indoor Championships, Beach Ultimate Championships and the WAFDA Annual Awards. High-Performance Committee Members

WA Ultimate is currently looking for 3-4 members to join the High-Performance Committee to assist WA Ultimate in improving and overseeing all the state team campaigns and the WA Ultimate Academy. Members will be appointed by the Director of High Performance and the Executive Committee. More details on the positions can be found here. School Sports WA Reference Panel Members

Are you a Primary or High School Teacher who loves Ultimate? Want to help establish a WA and Australian based competition for Primary and High School Students?

We are looking for a team of volunteer teachers to help build a reference committee who will help develop guidelines, strategies and procedures in accordance with School Sports WA, to create a School Sports competition for both Primary and High School Students.

Currently, we have a WA Ultimate run event – the High School Ultimate Championships, Check it out! We also have our event details on the School Sports WA website. We would like to expand this event to be co-ordinated by WA Ultimate, our reference panel and supported by School Sports WA.
