The WAFDA Awards recognise those who have contributed significantly to to growth and development of WA Flying Disc Sports. The focus is for both on-field and off-field efforts, and for those people who put in so much effort behind the scenes. The awards are generally presented at the end-of-year function. Nominations for all awards are usually called several weeks before the presentation. Award nominations should be submitted by email indicating the category and nominee, and a description of achievements that address the relevant award criteria. Recruiter of the Year

- Age has no influence on this award
| Player of the Year Award- Awarded to 1 Male and 1 Female player
- Must have participated in a WA League since 01 July 2011
- Played at WA Regional Qualifier Tournament Level or above since 01 July 2011
- Fosters ‘Spirit of the Game’
- Age has no influence on this award
