In 2006 Perth hosted the World Club Championships, 88 teams involving over 1700 players competed at this event. WUCC 06 is now referred to as Australia's best and biggest Ultimate tournament EVER. Australia was well represented in all divisions with WA Ultimate having 3 teams (Sublime and Renegades in the Mixed and Fear Discinsonia in the Masters). In 2010 the club teams from around the globe will come together again to see who the best club team in the world is. It will attract top teams from USA, Canada, Japan, Europe and Australia.
What: World Ultimate Club Championships 2010
When: 3-10 July 2010
Where: Prague, Czech Republic To ensure a spot in the qualifying process teams must express their interest to the AFDA no later than 1 July 2009. Teams must then attend qualifying tournaments in the lead up to the event. If you are interested in taking part in a WA Club team for the Mixed Division please indicate your interest ASAP to JD. |
