The Chair of Selectors will be involved in the appointment of the Selection Committee, and will then be required to liaise between this committee and the Executive. They will be required to attend all Selection Committee meetings and all UWA training sessions. From these training sessions they will oversee the production of a Player Dossier for each contending player, and will present the final selection of the team to the Executive for approval.

Preliminary training will be held for three weeks commencing on the 18th May. It will be on Monday nights from 7.30 - 8.30 on James Oval at UWA (Crawley). After a two week break, a reduced squad will recommence training each Monday night (exact day, time and duration to be decided). Candidates will be required to attend training sessions until the final squad is decided. They will also be required to attend inter-varsity tournaments, the first of which will be held on 19th July.

The Chair of Selectors will receive $100 from the club for their commitment to this role. The candidates will be voted on by the UWAFDC Committee.
