PUL 30 team sizes - 2008/01/29 08:07 Why has the team size changed from 16 to 15? I realise it doesn't make much of a difference, just seems odd to change it.

Re:PUL 30 team sizes - 2008/01/31 08:48 A roster size of 15 or 16 is a really decent roster size for a tournament let alone a 70 minute game.
PUL is a 4/3 gender split at all times even with a full line sub that give you 14 on your roster and allows for a couple of part time players if the team needs it.
Brand new players would not be looking to join this league.
It's a division one set up and a greater intensity than social league, those competing in Div 1 would be doing so to improve their competitive game and increase skills levels. A huge roster means less playing time.
A core squad of 11 or 12 is ideal, dropping the roster size immediately to that number would be drastic at this stage, so a slight decrease was the option decided on.
