Singapore Open 07 Wrap Up - 2007/09/11 17:19 A quick collation of info so far from Fear/Ruckus team that went to Singapore courtesy of Des.

We won the spirit award for open..... we came 5th in the end (from 6).. so wasn't that great but was fun though, lots of lay outs in the mud. 4th, 5th, and 6th won 1 game each. hutch, ken, gareth, toby, kieren, leung, fletcher and me went and picked up 4 locals. other teams had 15-28 players

the top team was the local team, freakshow, their a big team and pretty seriuos about the game, they were selling their own merchandise - t-shirts and stuff and field a large team. they took out both the open and mixed division. voodoo was pretty good as well, they came second.

even though we were 5th, we could of easily came 3rd or 4th loosing a couple of games by 1 or 2 pts. but i think if we had a fuller team and actually trained as a team before heading, good chance of us being 3rd

Re:Singapore Open 07 Wrap Up - 2007/09/11 17:52 That's not a bad result considering the size of the team and lack of training together as Des said. Well done FeaRuckus!

It's a shame more Perth players were not able to attend due to conflicts with NUFL. Hopefully next year this won't be a problem. Would be nice to send both an open and mixed team up to Singapore.

Re:Singapore Open 07 Wrap Up - 2007/09/13 14:57 Rather a good tournament and would encourage more WA people to attend next years event. I plan on getting a Fear team there in addition to the RUCKUS team.

With training and a few more subs, we would have placed third. Still a good effort by all and fun, pure ultimate.
