 Re:Who is going to take out WA Uni champs? - 2007/03/25 21:11 well paul, i think the real winner of the day was sportsmanship. sometimes professional athletes lose sight of the bigger picture, and focus solely on winning.

I am glad, that despite fierce rivalries between uwa and ecu, the true spirit of the game shone like a resplendant beacon of inspiration, and the sport of ultimate prevailed as the victor.

congratulations to everyone that participated. I think we can all rest content, knowing that sportsmanship, good spirit, and love for one another embiggens our fleeting existence.

Murdoch did indeed go down 5-4 in the round match against UWA.
But then Murdoch also won the final 10-9. It was a crazy game, but also a fantastic game in terms of closeness and intensity.

Since then though, Murdoch has done squat and UWA has won league and had the lads put in ripper performances at Nats.

I believe the biggest kudos go to Denyer though for correctly picking the result to a tee.
