BUFF - 2008/02/16 12:41 Hey there,

FEAR Ultimate Disc Club thanks everyone who participated in the Beach Ultimate FEAR-ious Fives (BUFF) tournament last weekend. It was a great day with quality ultimate and plenty of fun, with everyone getting into the spirit of the day.

Someone asked what happened to the Spirit and MVP prizes - the Spirit scores were pretty much even over the entire day, so picking a single team to win an award wasn't going to work. Similarly with MVP votes - after about two-thirds of games played there was a huge list of names with one vote each, and a few with two, so again picking one winner would have been unfair. Hope nobody was too disappointed by that,

Re:BUFF - 2009/01/28 06:54 I hope you are all set for a fun tournament this weekend. I remember playing last year, and it was great!!!
Way better than any nationals training, which can of course be fun, especially the liver training exercises. But none of that here for me.

Hope you all enjoy the sun, clear skies and no smog; but especially the water and sharks.
